Level 1 is basic AI literacy — the foundation for every generation. It gives every student the confidence to understand and use AI, and the wisdom to use it well.
Who delivers it in our institution?
Your own teachers do — trained and certified by EDShreem. It fits your timetable, your language and your classroom.
Is it suitable for all ages and streams?
Yes. It is designed for every age and background, from school children to college students, and your teachers can deliver it in the language of your classroom. The online course is in English.
Is it safe for children?

For teachers
Who can become a Certified AI Educator?
Qualified, experienced schoolteachers. You gain the confidence to understand AI and the craft to teach it, plus a permanent AI Primary Educator ID, renewed free every year.
Do I need to be a technology expert?
No. If you can teach, you can teach this. No coding or prior AI experience is needed.
What does L1 Plus include?
The complete Level 1 — all ten chapters, in Part A — plus Part B, six modules on how to deliver it, two comprehensive assessments, and — once certified — a permanent AI Primary Educator ID, renewed every year.

How does the yearly renewal of the Educator ID work?
Your AI Primary Educator ID number is yours for good. Once a year you renew its standing, free, from your dashboard — one click to confirm you still teach by the EDShreem Responsibility Code and that your details are correct. The button appears 60 days before the date. If you miss it, your ID is not deleted: Verify shows it as “renewal overdue” until you renew.

What does the certification cost?

For parents & learners
Does my child need any prior knowledge?
None at all. Level 1 starts from the very first curious step.
Can my child take Level 1 online?
Yes. Under Indian data-protection law a child cannot create an account themselves, so you, as parent or guardian,
create the account and choose
My child. We ask only for your child’s name (for the certificate) and year of birth. Your child then learns under your account, and the certificate is issued in their name. For under-13s, please sit with them for the “try it now” steps.
In which language is it taught?
The online courses are in English. In the classroom, EDShreem-certified teachers teach it in the learners’ own language — language should never decide who gets to use AI.
